Suzanne received a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from TWU in 1992, and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the University of South Florida in 1982. She is Technique and Diplomat Certified in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, and a Team Leader for IPT's CranioSacral Therapy program. She is also the recipient of the World CranioFacial Foundation's 2003 SMILE award, for her work with conjoined Egyptian twins Ahmed & Mohammed Ibrahim. Before entering pediatrics, Suzanne worked with patients in acute care and rehabilitation centers. Her hobbies include gardening, music, and creating watercolor paintings. Suzanne's extensive experience and gentle spirit enhances the healing process.
Lydia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. She is certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), and has received training in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute in Florida. She is also certified in multiple therapeutic listening programs. Lydia worked with brain-injured adults before moving to Pediatrics. She enjoys yoga, skiing, camping, and boating. Lydia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to IPT, and her patients love her creative energy.
Jenna received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Furman University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She discovered her passion for working in pediatrics while volunteering for a therapeutic horseback program (hippotherapy). She is certified in Interactive Metronome and is a provider for the Integrated Listening Systems (iLs). Jenna has a background in working with patients of all ages and varying diagnoses and is passionate about how she can best motivate kids to become more successful in all areas of their lives. When she's not busy with her patients at IPT, Jenna enjoys running with her dog Bailey, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and fiance.
Jessica received a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from LSU-HSC in Shreveport in 2011, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from LSU — Baton Rouge in 2008. During her rotations involving a multitude of specialties, she developed a strong love for the unique world of pediatric therapy and has committed herself to being a “life long learner” as a pediatric OT. She is certified in Interactive Metronome and has received training in Handwriting Without Tears, Mary Benbow’s Neurokinesthetic Approach to Handwriting, and DIR Floortime. Jessica enjoys cooking, running, crafts, gardening, yoga, and learning the new city of Dallas with her husband! Jessica is optimistic and passionate about her role as a pediatric occupational therapist. She is dedicated to partnering with parents to help all of her patients and families be able to Live Life to its Fullest!
Alex comes to IPT with a strong physical and medical background having received his education and training while serving in the U.S. Army. For the past six and one-half years, he was a Combat Medic and Civil Affairs Medical Specialist. He is a certified Interactive Metronome trainer and Physical and Occupational Therapy Tech, bringing a new level of adventure to the children at IPT. Alex enjoys travel, water sports, and camping. In his spare time, he attends college and serves in the National Guard.
Kelly received a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1993, and a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation from the University of North Texas in 1988. She is certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), and is a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) provider. Before joining IPT, Kelly worked with patients in burn hospitals, acute care facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Her favorite activities include gardening, yoga, camping, and junking. Kelly is a gifted therapist and provides OT to children at the IPT gym at the Shelton School.
Glenda is a licensed Registered Massage Therapist who began practicing CranioSacral Therapy in 1996. She received training through the Upledger institute and is an experienced CST training assistant. In addition, Glenda brings numerous neuromuscular massage techniques to the table, and specializes in relieving back pain and stress. Before joining IPT, Glenda worked with special needs children in the public school system. She enjoys any activities with her children and grandchildren. Glenda is passionate about the benefits of CranioSacral Therapy for children and adults, and has a heart of gold.
Lynn earned a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 2000, and has worked exclusively in pediatrics in a variety of school and clinic settings in both Texas and California. She enjoys reading, listening to live music, and competitively showing her 2-year-old Boxer, Gringo. Lynn loves working with children of all ages and is dedicated to helping them achieve their maximum potential.
Summer earned her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Womans University in 2013 and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2011. Summer loves working with children and has treated patients of every age with a variety of diagnoses. She joined IPT to fulfill her lifelong dream of working in pediatrics. Summer says seeing a smile on the face of a child is the best and develops goals aimed to bring out the absolute best in each child with fun and individualized treatment plans. Outside of IPT Summer enjoys sports, going to the lake, working on craft projects, spending time with her family and her dog, Hank. Summer is also a certified trainer of the Interactive Metronome Program.
Lisa received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 2010, and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Studies from OU in 2008. She previously worked in adult orthopedics, early childhood intervention, and school based pediatric therapy. Known for her inquisitive nature, Lisa leaves no stone unturned when it comes to providing the best treatment for her patients. As a result, she is also the lead therapist for IPT's physical therapy college intern program. She enjoys being with her family, running, and taking care of her dogs and cats. Lisa is excited to be working in her dream profession and tries to give as much joy to her patients as they give to her.
Candice earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 1999. She is trained in Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Sensory Integration and pediatric yoga. Candice is a Certified Clinical Instructor, Certified Kinesiotaping Practicioner, Certified Interactive Metronome Provider and is also certified in the multiple therapeutic listening programs. She has 13 years experience evaluating and fitting ankle-foot orthotics and 8 years experience casting and correcting orthotic devices. Candice and her husband are involved with service to the community and also enjoy tennis, water sports, yoga, dance and travel. Candice has a true passion for pediatrics and believes in treating the individual child as a whole, striving to help each child reach his or her fullest potential.
Barbara earned her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1989. She is certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), Interactive Metronome (IM), Handwriting Without Tears, and multiple therapeutic listening programs. Barbara is a gifted therapist with over 20 years experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. Since 1995 she has worked exclusively in pediatrics, combining sensory integration and neurological approaches in IPT's clinics and private school settings. Besides working six days a week, she stays extremely busy as mom to three teenagers. Barbara is known for her incredible creativity and the ability to motivate her patients to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Jeanne received her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1989. She is a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) provider, and has over 20 years of clinical experience. While working in a rehabilitation clinic, Jeanne discovered her passion for pediatrics. She is known for her festive spirit and always brings fun and laughter into her therapy sessions. Jeanne is married to a physical therapist and they like to spend their free time attending athletic events and dance performances, to cheer on their son and daughter. Jeanne is always looking for, and finding, new ways to challenge and motivate her patients.
Meghan received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2012. She is certified in Interactive Metronome and Integrated Listening Systems. She enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time relaxing outside. She knew she was destined to work with children since she was 16 due to working as a personal care assistant with a little girl with special needs and job shadowing her aunt who was an occupational therapist. She brings an imaginative approach to therapy sessions each day to fully motivate her kids. She has a passion for working with children and wants them to experience success.
Arielle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011. With her knowledge of the body's movements and functions, not to mention her mindful personality, she provides valuable assistance to IPT's Physical and Occupational Therapists. Arielle plans to return to school eventually to earn an advanced degree in Occupational Therapy. She enjoys photography, movies, and spending time with her family and daughter, Bailee. Arielle brings boundless energy and enthusiasm to her work at IPT.
Brigitte received a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1981, from Florida International University. She is Technique Certified by the Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy. In addition, she has completed extensive coursework in Visceral Manipulation, Bobath pediatric therapy techniques, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Feldenkrais method, Spinal Mobilization, and other therapeutic modalities. Brigitte enjoys yoga, dancing, painting, and spending time with her 13-year-old son. She appreciates having access to the latest technologies and equipment, and loves working with IPT's skilled therapists and supportive staff. Having practiced physical therapy in Australia, Germany, and the United States, Brigitte utilizes her extensive international knowledge and passion to help each patient achieve their goals and live a healthier life.
Bonnie received a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University in 2007, and a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2005. She previously worked with adults who had neurological and vestibular (balance) challenges, but found her true vocation during a clinical rotation in Pediatrics. Bonnie is experienced in sensory integration techniques, aquatic therapy, dance therapy, and equestrian therapy. She loves being a wife and mom to two active little boys. Bonnie enjoys working with children and feels they make everyday fun.
Jabeen earned a Master's of Business Administration from Warwick University in England in 1982, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Studies from London University, London England in 1980. She was a marketing consultant for Alcoa before following her true desire to work with children in private and public schools in the Dallas area. Jabeen is a gifted teacher and a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) provider. She is experienced in pediatric yoga, the Brain Gym learning program, and the Handwriting Without Tears program, which she incorporates into her treatments. In her free time she enjoys tennis, golf, yoga and travel. Her enthusiasm for sports is a particular asset when working with clients to enhance their sports performance using the IM program.
